Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2007, $550,000)
Through this program Washburn University of Topeka will provide a state-of-the-art, multidisciplinary training at a national conference that will enhance practitioner responses to crime victims with disabilities. It will also further strategic partnerships at the local, state, and national level among the various disciplines that must respond to these victims to enhance victims' access to the criminal justice system and needed services and support. ca/ncf
