Crime victim services

The goal of this solicitation is for the award recipient to implement, manage, and sustain the iMPRoVE project for victim service providers. The iMPRoVE project provides an assessment survey tool for victim service providers to be able to measure outcomes and assess the effectiveness and quality of services provided to their clients.

OVC seeks applications to develop or enhance promising practices, models, and programs that offer innovative solutions to build the capacity of service providers to increase the service options and/or expand access points for victims of crime in underrepresented communities.

Under this solicitation, experienced organizations will work with OVC’s existing training and technical assistance provider to develop or enhance prevention and early intervention services based on best practices to focus on the needs of girls who are at risk or are victims of sex trafficking.

OVC seeks applications for funding to develop a toolkit for serving transgender victims of crime. The goal of this project is to update and expand upon the previously released 2014 OVC guide, Responding to Transgender Victims of Sexual Assault.
