Victims of Crime--A Social Work Response: Building Skills To Strengthen Survivors

Summary

This kit of materials created for a training workshop introduces social work practitioners and students to the field of crime victim assistance and the rights of and services available to adult crime victims. Developed by Fran Danis and staff of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Texas Chapter and University of Texas through a grant from the U.S. Department of Justice, Office for Victims of Crime (OVC), the materials in the kit are available for download as PDFs, a movie clip, and an HTML document (see contents below).
