OVC FY 2021 VOCA Victim Assistance Formula Grant

OVC will award each eligible state and territory victim assistance program an annual grant to support eligible crime victim assistance programs in that state or territory. Eligible crime victim assistance programs are those that are “operated by a public agency or nonprofit organization, or a combination of such agencies or organizations or of both such agencies and organizations, and provide services to victims of crime,” and that meet the other requirements set out in 34 U.S.C. § 20103(b)(1).

OVC FY 2021 National Crime Victims’ Rights Week Community Awareness Projects (2022)

This cooperative agreement will enable an organization to provide financial and technical assistance to approximately 50 communities nationwide to conduct public awareness activities on crime victims’ rights and services in their jurisdictions during the 2022 National Crime Victims’ Rights Week.

This invitation to apply is targeted to the FY 20 Preventing Trafficking of Girls Training and Technical Assistance provider to expand the skills of program providers and other stakeholders working to prevent trafficking of girls. The criminal act has to be of sufficient magnitude that the jurisdiction cannot provide needed services to victims of the incident with existing resources and it places an undue financial hardship on the jurisdiction’s ability to respond to victims of other crimes in a timely and comprehensive manner.

The Tool was developed under a grant to the National Crimes Victims Center, National Congress of American Indians, Tribal Law and Policy Institute, and StrongHearts Native Helpline.
