Labor Trafficking Outreach Fundamentals

Event Dates

This 2-hour practical training on Labor Trafficking Outreach Fundamentals is comprised of two parts. The first hour consists of a 45-minute interactive webinar followed by 15 minutes of Q&A. In the second hour, providers will have an opportunity to break out into small (virtual) workshop groups to apply knowledge in the context of their own organizations and communities.

Learning Objectives

Participants in this training event will gain a grounded understanding of what labor trafficking outreach is, practical knowledge to design and implement outreach programming, insights into effective use of language and imagery, and awareness of staff and survivor safety considerations.

Target Audience

This training is tailored for anti-trafficking service providers with limited knowledge and experience conducting labor trafficking outreach. This training may also benefit staff from more seasoned outreach programs by reinforcing fundamentals and providing insight into the latest resources and recommendations.
