The National Crime Victim Law Institute will discuss the practical side of criminal restitution litigation and collection, including an overview of the intersection of restitution and crime victim compensation. Using information gathered from practitioner interviews, the session will provide strategies to help ensure courts order restitution and that it is collectible, and provide strategies to avoid common pitfalls.
