Nassau County Office of Crime Victim Advocate National Crime Victims' Rights Week Vigil

The event will be held on the front steps of the County Executives building where local government officials will speak about this

There will be the presentations of a proclamation and citations acknowledging the work of a service provider and individual who have done exceptional work for the victims in the county. A candlelight vigil will acknowledge and recommit to the fight of ensuring the rights of victims. Lastly, there will be some performances by survivors to honor their journey.
