How do you build a strong, diverse, and engaged board? Once you accomplish that, how do you maintain member involvement? This training will provide a step-by-step guide to building an effective board and strategies for keeping members involved and accountable.
This training is intended for staff within victim service organizations who work closely with a board of directors. It is not for those who are serving on a board of directors.
This training will be delivered online, over the course of 4 weeks, beginning on January 18, 2022. Each week, except for the introductory week, will include a facilitated webinar. There are recommended readings and videos, as well as written assignments. You should expect to spend about an hour per week on the assignments, in addition to participating in the 75-minute webinar. CEUs will be awarded for those who complete all requirements.
