The OVC VOCA Center and the Criminal Justice Planning Center– Braided Funding for Maximum Impact

This session is designed for state agency administrators who oversee the Byrne Justice Assistance Grant (Byrne JAG), Byrne State Crisis Intervention (Byrne SCIP), Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) funding and other federal formula grant programs. Leveraging multiple funding sources, specifically through a braided funding model, can help create programs and initiatives that are sustainable, comprehensive, and collaborative.
