Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2021, $750,000)

Geographic Area: The North Dakota Human Trafficking Task Force (NDHTTF) serves the entire state of North Dakota (ND), which includes fifty-three counties and five Indian reservations, as well as the Trenton Indian Service Area. The NDHTTF headquarters are located in Bismarck, ND, central to the state. The Task Force’s Operational Team, comprised of Navigators, BCI agents, a Survivor Leader, a Labor Trafficking Specialist, and HSI agents; is split between two locations, Bismarck and Fargo, to provide leadership in the Eastern and Western parts of ND. The NDHTTF utilizes nine multidisciplinary (MDT) teams in communities throughout ND   to work with the Operational team and provide direct victim response, investigate, and prosecute cases of human trafficking.
