Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2021, $750,000)

The lead law enforcement agency is the Office of the District Attorney of Delaware County, Pennsylvania. and the lead victim services partner is Family Support Line of Delaware County, Inc. The project will be focused in Delaware County, a suburban county adjacent to the city of Philadelphia (population of 566,747).

 Working together to form the Multidisciplinary Anti-Human Trafficking Team (MATT), the TF will implement a plan for responding to all victims of sex and labor trafficking through a coordinated and collaborative effort.  Incidents of human trafficking will be exposed, human trafficking victims will be identified and provided comprehensive restorative services, and perpetrators of human trafficking will be investigated and prosecuted at the state and federal levels.  In working together, local law enforcement and victim service providers will be partnering with federal and state investigative and regulatory agencies and resources in formulating a comprehensive and coordinated response to human trafficking.
