Adding shelter space for pets in the lobby of our shelter building that we own.

Safelight is a nonprofit serving Henderson County, NC committed to breaking the cycle of interpersonal violence. Our shelter operating for survivors since 1984 is looking to expand and enhance our collaborative efforts with our local animal shelter Blue Ridge Humane Society to provide onsite critical services for the pets of our survivors and their families, further reducing trauma and promoting healing.
