FY 2023 TVSSA Award- Taos Pueblo

Taos Pueblo will utilize the FY 2023 TVSSA award primarily to prepare an area (and as funds allow, all the way to connection) for two mobile units to be placed on Tribal Lands to serve victims of crime. One unit will be a emergency shelter, allowing Tribal Members to stay on Tribal Lands but have emergency shelter when needed. The second proposed unit will be a "hub", where client services can be rendered to victims of crime, including but not limited to counseling services, case management, confidential meetings, etc. As noted, the primary use will be for the construction project, but a small portion may be retained to assist in the ongoing provision of services to clients.
