Fresno Economic Opportunities Commission (Fresno EOC) proposes to implement the OVC 2023 Integrated Services for all Minor Victims of Human Trafficking to support 90 minors over a three-year period through this initiative. This project aims to 1) Develop policies and procedures promoting developmentally and linguistically appropriate services for minor victims of human trafficking, 2) Identify minor victims of sex and labor trafficking, 3) Provide comprehensive wraparound services to all minor victims of human trafficking, including referral plans, and, 4) Provide culturally-responsive case management to all minor victims of human trafficking. To meet these goals, CVAHT will provide trauma-informed child-specific direct services and collaborate with partner organizations to meet the comprehensive needs of trafficking victims. CVAHT operates the Central Valley Freedom Coalition—a multi-disciplinary network of over 1,200 members. CVAHT partners with law enforcement, victim advocate groups, district attorneys, the judicial system, faith-based groups, medical providers, and social services organizations. The project will include sub-grants with Family Healing Center and Breaking the Chains, respectively, to provide child-centered mental health treatment and trauma treatment services.
