Award Information
Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2023, $750,000)
Enhanced Multidisciplinary Teams (EMDTs) are powerful platforms to ensure more responsive interventions; better partnerships; a deeper knowledge of the complexities of elder abuse; and better client outcomes. The growth of EMDTs across the country provides unique opportunities to share learning and resources; foster convergence on best practices; introduce new tools for practitioners; and provide support to one another. Through this project, Weill Medical College of Cornell University will expand its reach and scale its impact nationally to better serve older adults. The project will provide innovative strategies, technologies, and resources to support coordinators; customize responsive technical assistance for team support; training to meet knowledge gaps; guidance on integrating specialty services, healing centered-care, and embedding equity; and advice on sustainability and long-range funding strategies.
