Help for Abused Partners will provide essential support services to victims of domestic violence in a rural, 3-county area of Colorado. The project’s primary goals include ensuring immediate safety through shelter provisions, offering comprehensive crisis intervention services, and meeting the basic needs of survivors and their children. Long-term goals include providing access to counseling services and bilingual advocacy that reflects the diversity of the population served. The service area includes Phillips, Logan, and Sedgwick countries in Colorado and the services to be provided include emergency shelter, bilingual advocacy, food, crisis line, transportation, assistance with housing expenses, job readiness items like clothing, court advocacy and legal services.
