Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2007, $50,000)
The purpose of this cooperative agreement is to support the planning and development of a victimization-focused public awareness campaign targeted at underserved populations with Limited English Proficiency in the local community. The grantee will work in partnership with ethnic media (radio, print, and/or television) as well as community- and/or faith-based organizations to produce a linguistically and culturally appropriate public awareness campaign on one or more victimization issues.
