The purpose of this cooperative agreement is to support the planning and development of victimization-focused public awareness campaigns targeted at underserved and socially isolated populations that will raise community awareness of crime victims' rights and services.

The goal of the Bringing Residents Information about Death and Greif to engage them in Services (BRIDGES) project is to innovatively and effectively increase the awareness of rights of and available services to co-victims of homicide in the Latino and Chinese communities in Queens, New York. A collaborative and multidisciplinary Community and Consumer Advisory Board, consisting of victim experts, community-based organizations, faith-based services, businesses, media, consumers, and experts on Latino and Chinese culture will create and disseminate language, culturally, and technologically-accessible products to co-victims. The BRIDGES Project will also create a how to guide to apply this model at the national level.
