Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2008, $80,000)
The purpose of this award is to enhance the ability of organizations to support faith-based organizations in providing counseling services to crime victims, and support the creation of collaborative models for local victim assistance programs to join with faith-based organizations, spiritual leaders, and traditional healers in American Indian/Alaskan Native communities and determine the best practices for facilitating counseling services by faith-based organizations.
