Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2010, $60,000)
The purpose of this award, one of several projects under the Services for Victims of Human Trafficking Grant Program, is to allow The Salvation Army Southern California Division to provide intensive case management and legal services to certified victims of human trafficking in addition to the comprehensive services currently provided to pre-certified victims under the existing OVC award. The Salvation Army Southern California Division will also continue to build effective community service networks to respond to victims' needs; and provide training to increase awareness among criminal justice entities, social service providers, and the public of the rights and needs of trafficking victims until the end of the current grant period. nc/ncf
