Peace Among Us / Paz entre Nosotros

The purpose of the OVC FY 09 Public Awareness and Outreach to Victims in Underserved Communities is to raise awareness of traditionally underserved populations about victims' rights as well as improve their knowledge about accessing local services available to crime victims. The Texas Council on Family Violence (TCVF) will initiate a program entitled "Peace Among Us" geared at limited English speaking Hispanic victims of family violence in El Paso, Texas. They will partner with the Center Against Family Violence and a marketing and communications firm to create culturally and linguistically appropriate products. ca/ncf
