Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2010, $249,997)

Through this project the American Academy of Pediatrics will develop and improve the capacity of its membership/professional affiliates to advance victims' rights and improve victim services with a focus on children exposed to or victimized by violence by using the "medical home approach" to develop webinars and tools to train pediatricians on the scope and effects of children's exposure to violence.
