Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2010, $324,974)
The purpose of this cooperative agreement is to update the document entitled "Standards for Victim Assistance Programs and Providers", develop the product as an on-line tool, housed on the OVC Website, and conduct outreach to targeted audiences to disseminate information about the utility of the enhanced product as a capacity building resource for the victim services field. The grantee will reconvene the National Victim Assistance Standards Consortium, gather input and facilitate consensus on the enhancement and specific changes needed to update the resource for contemporary relevance, and work in partnership with OVC on all aspects of product development and dissemination. ca/ncf
