Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2011, $300,000)

The purpose of this award, one of several projects funded under the Services for Victims of Human Trafficking Grant Program, is to allow ARC Community Services, Inc. to provide timely and high-quality comprehensive services for U.S. citizen and Lawful Permanent Resident victims of human trafficking as defined by the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000, as amended. ARC Community Services, Inc. will leverage all local, state, and federal resources to ensure the provision of trauma-informed, culturally competent services to male and female victims of sex trafficng and labor trafficking identifed or living in the Metropolitan Area of Madison, Wisconsin, including Dane, Iowa, Columbia, Sauk, Green, Rock, and Jefferson counties. In addition, the grantee will also provide training and technical support to service providers and allied professionals to improve the community response to trafficking victims within the target area over a two year project period. ca/ncf
