Award Information
Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2012, $250,000)
Through the Identifying Culturally Responsive Victim-Centered Restorative Justice Strategies (VCRJ) Project, the National Center on Crime and Delinquency will identify, examine, and document effective victim-centered restorative justice practices that are culturally responsive, with an emphasis on those practices implemented in tribal communities, urban inner city areas, and practices involving youth. It is OVC's intent that the project, including the national-scope assessment and other written reports developed by the grantee, will help inform future OVC efforts to implement and evaluate promising victim-centered restorative justice models.
