This award was made under the "OVC 2012 Action Partnerships for National Membership, Professional Affiliation, and Community Service Organizations Responding to Polyvictimization" solicitation. This program furthers the Department's mission by fostering partnerships among OVC, the victim services field, and national membership, professional, and community service organizations to advance victims' rights and improve victims' services through training, public awareness, and educational efforts, with a focus on responding to polyvictimization.

The Justice Resource Center Institute's Trauma Center will conduct the "Enhancing Multidisciplinary Responses to Polyvictimization" project to engage service providers outside the mental health field to instill and strengthen the trauma perspective in their services to polyvictims.
