The purpose of this award, one of several projects funded under the Services for Victims of Human Trafficking Grant Program, is to enhance the quality and quantity of services available to assist victims of human trafficking, as defined by the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA) of 2000, as amended.

The Worker Justice Center of New York, Inc. will provide specialized legal services for victims of human trafficking within the target geographic region. In addition, the program will increase the capacity of communities to respond to human trafficking victims through the development of interagency partnerships, professional training, and public awareness activities.
