The Vision 21: Building State Technology Capacity Program, addresses the need among state grantees to increase access to technology, increase access for victims to state victim resources and increase accuracy of administrative reporting. As our society turns more and more to innovative technology, victim service providers and the VOCA state administrating agencies must be prepared to respond to the rapid evolution of communication technologies by developing organizational capacity to not only support their organizations data collection needs but also to support victims of crime in new and varied ways that still protect the victim's rights to safety and confidentiality.
