The OVC Language Access Training and Technical Assistance Program is designed to provide nationwide training and technical assistance for crime victim service providers and allied professionals in the area of language access. With this award, the Vera Institute of Justice (VERA), in collaboration with the Asian Pacific Institute on Gender-Based Violence, the National Latin@ Network, Advocacy Services for Abused Deaf Victims, and the National Center for Victims of Crime, will develop and provide training and technical assistance to improve access to crime victim services for Deaf, hard of hearing, and limited English proficient victims.
