Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2016, $407,301)
The Comprehensive Tribal Victim Assistance Program is created to support tribal nations' efforts to develop or enhance and sustain a comprehensive victim assistance program that: 1) provides a coordinated collaborative multidisciplinary response to victims of crime, their families and community, and 2) provides trauma-informed, culturally competent holistic services to victims of crime, family, and community.
Specifically, this award will enhance the Tribal Victim Assistance project by hiring a case manager and data specialist.
- Expansion of the Honolulu County Human Trafficking Task Force
- First Fruit Ministries OVC FY22 Emergency and Transitional Pet Shelter and Housing Assistance Program
- Protect Our Pets (Mini Category)will create and expand options for domestic violence victims with pets by providing support and other resources and training to Safe Futures community partners.
