The Vison 21 Multidisciplinary Response to Families and Communities in Complex Homicide Cases Program will 1.) identify and document promising victim-centered and trauma-informed multidisciplinary responses and evidence-based practices that are effective in responding to families on complex homicide cases; and 2.) disseminate resources and lessons learned from this project to the victim services field and allied professionals. The Anti-Violence Partnership of Philadelphia has been selected as one of several demonstration sites for this initiative and will focus activities on developing and institutionalizing a multi-disciplinary approach to responding to intrafamilial homicide cases. The grantee will also work closely with a local evaluator and a technical assistance provider who will provide innovative assistance and support to the demonstration sites to help them achieve project goals over a 3-year project period.
