Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2018, $1,500,000)

The purpose of the OVC Fiscal Year (FY) 2018 Child Victims and Witnesses Going to Court: A Package of Support Materials is to develop materials to help prepare and support young victims and witnesses during their participation in the justice system, helping to ensure the Nation’s youngest crime victims are afforded their rights and receive fair and equitable access to justice.

With this supplemental award, the Fund for the City of New York / Center for Court Innovation will expand the scope of its existing award, including the development of companion materials for professionals who are working with children and materials targeted to two young victim population groups — victims of human trafficking and American Indian and Alaska Native victims.
