Using Tele-health to Improve Care, Access and Quality of SAFEs

The purpose of this award, funded under the OVC FY 2019 Enhancing Care and Improving Access and Quality of Sexual Assault Forensic Examinations through Telehealth (Purpose Area 2), is to provide technical assistance (TA) to the Purpose Area 1 demonstration sites in the planning and implementation of a telehealth program as well as provide TA to OVC's 2020 Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Campus Program awardees. This will include in-person, phone and email consultations, webinars, and other distance/online learning technologies. The International Association of Forensic Nurses is expected to bring innovative and evidence-driven ideas and strategies to the project and work in partnership with OVC and the demonstration sites to accomplish the goals, objectives, and activities of the project.
