Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2019, $899,737)
The Enhanced Collaborative Model Task Force to Combat Human Trafficking Program is designed to support the development and enhancement of multidisciplinary human trafficking task forces that implement collaborative approaches to combat all forms of human trafficking, including sex and labor trafficking of both foreign nationals and U.S. citizens (of all sexes and ages), within the United States. The task forces will implement victim-centered and coordinated approaches to: identify victims of all types of human trafficking; investigate, refer, and prosecute sex trafficking and labor trafficking cases at the local, state, tribal, and federal levels; and, address the individualized needs of victims through quality services. This award will be made to Tulare County District Attorneys Office (lead law enforcement agency) who will work in collaboration with Family Services of Tulare County (lead non-governmental victim service provider) to implement this project within Tulare County-Central Valley California.
