Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2020, $2,999,977)

With this funding, ICF Incorporated, L.L.C (ICF) will provide training, technical assistance and support to enable communities that wish to augment their existing emergency response plans to ensure that the immediate and long-term needs of victims, families, first responders and communities are addressed after criminal mass violence or domestic terrorism incidents. In coordination with four project partners, the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), the National Sheriffs’ Association (NSA), the National Compassion Fund (NCF), and the National Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA), ICF will build the capacity of victim service providers, law enforcement, emergency management and others to improve community preparedness for criminal mass violence and domestic terrorism events.
