Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2020, $666,667)

The purpose of this award, funded under the program OVC FY 2020 Services for Minor Victims of Labor Trafficking, is to enhance the quality and quantity of services available to assist a minor “victim of trafficking,” as defined by the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000, as amended, by providing high-quality services that are developmentally appropriate and tailored for the individual needs of young trafficking victims.

Ayuda plans to use OVC funding to expand their Virginia office's services statewide to meet the service needs for minor victims of labor trafficking. The project will focus on legal services, case management, and mental health care to minor victims of labor trafficking throughout Virginia.CA/NCF
