The goal of the FY 2020 Housing Assistance Grants for Victims of Human Trafficking Program is to support housing assistance for victims of all forms of human trafficking throughout the United States, as defined by the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA) of 2000, as amended. Funding through this solicitation supports programs that provide 6 to 24 months of transitional housing with support services to victims of human trafficking who are in need of housing as a result of human trafficking. Funding will be provided over a three-year project period. Centers for Youth and Families (the Centers) has built a human trafficking program that includes comprehensive therapeutic services in residential, outpatient, and community settings. Now, the Centers seeks to will expand its existing programming to include transitional housing designed to empower survivors with the tools they need to access safe, stable housing and gainful, stable employment as they heal from trauma and recover from victimization. The Centers will leverage new and existing relationships to provide therapeutic and other services to clients referred from anywhere in the United States. Housing assistance will be provided for at least 36 clients over three years with available housing throughout Arkansas and with some housing supports available to survivors in their home communities on a case-by-case basis. In addition to short-term housing assistance and navigating clients to transitional and permanent housing, the Centers will provide full outpatient therapeutic services, comprehensive mental healthcare, education attainment and job skills assistance, and transportation assistance.
