Abstract
Frontline violence intervention workers often come from the same communities they serve. Someone with life experience, passion, compassion, and intelligence can have great success in the field, but the most successful frontline violence intervention workers also build their professional skills through training, work experience, and reflection. This brief discusses the type of training these workers need.
