This document, produced by the Human Trafficking Capacity Building Center, offers information resources on coaching and developing organizations and tribes with efforts to build their capacity for helping victims of all forms of human trafficking.

Abstract

Based on the knowledge that American Indian and Alaska Native people are at least twice as likely to experience violent crimes, rape, or sexual assault crimes when compared to all other ethnicities, this brief document provides a listing of resources to address the situation. The document lists resources that can be useful to service providers, including the following: The Human Trafficking Capacity Building Center, which offers free coaching to help tribes with building knowledge on human trafficking; Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW); Presidential Task Force on Missing and Murdered American Indians and Alaska Natives, known as Operation Lady Justice; and Resources to Respond to Human Trafficking.
