Sergio’s Story and Resources for Supporting Victims of Labor Trafficking

Cover of Sergio's Story: A Journey Through (and Beyond) the Legal System

Earlier this year, OVC released videos highlighting Sergio’s Story, a graphic novel from our Child Victims and Witnesses Support Materials series, that describes the experience of a young boy who was a victim of labor trafficking and is part of a federal case.

These videos highlight—

  • labor trafficking warning signs and the impact this crime has on youth victims;
  • working conditions individuals may encounter in labor trafficking situations and some of the fears victims have about coming forward; and
  • what support, including the resources available to victims, and court proceedings for labor trafficking cases can look like.
