Defined Monetary Assistance Victims Reserve for Eligible Victims of Federal Child Pornography Crimes
This U.S. Department of Justice-administered program provides monetary assistance to eligible victims of federal child pornography/child sexual abuse material offenses. A federal court determines whether a victim is eligible and entitled to receive a one-time payment, and the Department of Justice makes the ordered payment through this program.
Office for Victims of Crime: Antiterrorism and Emergency Assistance Program (AEAP)
OVC manages AEAP, which offers five funding streams to provide timely relief to communities affected by domestic terrorism and criminal mass violence for immediate and ongoing victim assistance services in the form of grants. Qualifying applicants include state victim assistance and compensation programs, public agencies, federally recognized Indian tribal governments, and more.
September 11th Victim Compensation Fund
The Fund provides compensation to individuals (or a personal representative of a deceased individual) who were present at one of the three crash sites and who have since been diagnosed with a 9/11-related physical illness, as well as those who worked or volunteered in construction, clean-up, and debris removal; or who lived, worked, visited, or went to school in the NYC exposure zone.

The OVC Center for VOCA Administrators provides no-cost training and technical assistance to Victim Assistance and Victim Compensation Administrators and offers opportunities for expert consultation, peer-to-peer collaboration, problem-solving, training, and innovation. A resource library features toolkits, videos, and other materials to strengthen victim assistance and compensation programs and services. VOCA Administrators can request assistance by contacting their State Victim Resource Division Grant Manager.
