HALOS's mission is to provide resources and special opportunities to abused and neglected children and their caregivers through partnerships with faith-based and other community organizations. HALOS matches community donations to the needs of foster children and children cared for in the homes of family members other than their parents.
The Court Appointed Special Advocates/Guardian ad Litem for Children provides advocacy, public education, and resources for CASA and Guardian ad Litem programs across the country. The association also trains CASA and Guardian ad Litem volunteers, who work to find safe, permanent homes for abused and neglected children.
The Child Welfare League of America serves abused and neglected children and their families. Services include child abuse prevention and treatment, youth programs, residential treatment, child daycare, and family preservation.
The Chadwick Center for Children and Families promotes the health and well-being of abused and traumatized children and their families.
