The OVC Training and Technical Assistance Center received a 2018 W³ Silver Award for Online Video- Documentary Series. The W³ Awards celebrate digital excellence by honoring outstanding websites, web marketing, videos, mobile sites/apps, and social content.
The Tribal Victim Assistance: Sexual Assault in Indian Country three-video series seeks to inform and assist victim service providers and allied professionals in their efforts to assist American Indian/Alaska Native victims of sexual assault.
2018 National Crime Victims' Rights Week (NCVRW) Videos
OVC received 2018 Spring Omni Awards for the 2018 NCVRW Theme Video: Expand the Circle. Reach All Victims. This video helps communities and victim assistance providers promote awareness of crime victims' issues through the 2018 NCVRW and beyond.

A Healing Journey of Alaska Natives
A Healing Journey for Alaska Natives received first place in the 2017 National Association of Government Communicators (NAGC) Blue Pencil and Gold Screen Awards in the Public Affairs Program category. NAGC also selected this product as “Best in Show” from among first place winners in all 2017 award categories.
This educational video series was developed in collaboration with the Office on Violence Against Women. It is designed to educate federal, state, local, and Tribal victim service providers, criminal justice professionals, and others who work with Alaska Native victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.

Faces of Human Trafficking Online Resource Guide
The Faces of Human Trafficking Resource Guide received first place in the 2017 National Association of Government Communicators (NAGC) Blue Pencil and Gold Screen Awards in the Special Purpose Product category and a 2016 Apex Grand Award in the website category.
The Faces of Human Trafficking Resource Guide raises public awareness of human trafficking, the many forms it can take, and the important role that everyone can play in identifying and serving victims.
This multidisciplinary resource includes:
- Nine videos in English with Spanish subtitles.
- Public Service Announcements (PSAs) offered in English, Spanish, Thai, Hindi, and Tagalog.
- A discussion guide.
- Four OVC fact sheets.
- Four posters designed for service providers and allied professionals, law enforcement, the general public, and victims/survivors.

OVC's Through Our Eyes: Children, Violence, and Trauma website has won a 2014 APEX Award of Excellence in the website category.

SART Toolkit: Resources for Sexual Assault Response Teams

OVC Gallery
The OVC Gallery Promoting Crime Victims’ Rights and Services received a Platinum Award in the Web Site Overall category of the MarCom Awards 2009 competition.
The Gallery, launched in March 2009, is a database of multimedia products promoting crime victims’ rights and services, including posters from the 2003–2009 National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW) Resource Guides, photos and biographies of award recipients, promotional web banners, and photos of NCVRW and prelude events.
The MarCom Awards are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing & Communication Professionals. The Awards are an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievements by marketing and communications professionals. Submissions come from a full range of marketing and communications organizations. The prestigious Platinum Award is presented to those entries judged to be among the most outstanding entries in the competition. Platinum winners are recognized for their excellence in terms of quality, creativity, and resourcefulness.
National Crime Victims’ Rights Week Campaign
OVC received a Gold Award in the Publicity Campaign category of the MarCom Awards 2009 competition for the NCVRW Media and Publicity Campaign.
The Media and Publicity Campaign to promote NCVRW 2009 featured web advertisements, e-mail blasts, and promotional posters, as well as a Jumbotron in Washington, D.C., that played Public Service Announcements related to NCVRW and crimevictims.gov.

OVC’s Mobile SANE E-Publication
OVC received an award for Second Place in the Electronic Publication category of the 2009 National Association of Government Communicators (NAGC) Gold Screen Awards competition for Implementing SANE Programs in Rural Communities: The West Virginia Regional Mobile SANE Project.
The Mobile SANE replication guide highlights an OVC-funded demonstration project from the West Virginia Foundation for Rape Information and Services (FRIS), which sought to use on-call sexual assault nurse examiners (SANEs) to serve hospitals throughout a four-county region in a rural area of West Virginia. It describes the project planning and implementation process and includes access to materials developed during implementation.

2008 National Crime Victims' Rights Week Online Resource Guide
OVC won the Web Marketing Association's 2008 Web Award for Government Standard of Excellence for the NCVRW Online Resource Guide.
The NCVRW Online Resource Guide was launched on January 9, 2008, to help communities and victim assistance providers promote awareness of crime victims' issues through the 2008 NCVRW and beyond.
The Web Marketing Association was founded to help set high standards for Internet marketing and site development on the World Wide Web. The organization comprises Internet marketing, online advertising, PR, and website design professionals who share an interest in improving the quality of online marketing and promotion. The Web Awards provide a benchmark by which all websites can be judged, recognize the individual achievements behind the creation of websites, and promote a standard of excellence.
Crimevictims.gov
Crimevictims.gov won an Award of Excellence in the Video, Multimedia, or Internet Programs or Presentations category of the 2006 NAGC Gold Screen Awards competition.
Crimevictims.gov is a supplementary portal site to OVC's main website. It provides victims of crime with easy, intuitive navigation, specifically designed for them, to OVC's wide base of resources. The site was not designed to provide new resources, but to simplify the way that an average user finds the many resources OVC already offers. The site also serves other audiences in the same intuitive manner.

HELP for Victim Service Providers Web Forum
In 2005, OVC's HELP for Victim Service Providers Web Forum received an Award of Excellence in the Awards for Publication Excellence (APEX) Competition in the Web Sites (entire site) category.
OVC introduced the Web Forum as a way for victim service providers and allied professionals to share ideas, suggestions, and recommendations concerning promising practices, best practices, and victim issues. The OVC Web Forum contains a variety of tools designed to assist providers with finding the information they need as quickly and efficiently as possible so that they can get back to their main mission: helping victims of crime. The forum contains an ever-growing and evolving list of topics to which providers can recommend additions.
The APEX Awards are sponsored by the editors of Writing That Works: The Business Communications Report. The Web Forum was 1 of nearly 5,000 entries from corporations, nonprofit organizations, and independent publishers.
OVC's Online Directory of Crime Victim Services
OVC's Online Directory of Crime Victim Services received an Award of Excellence in the 2004 APEX Competition.
The Directory earned the honor in the category of Special Purpose Campaigns, Programs, and Plans. The site was launched in July 2004 as an online tool to help victims of crime find national and international assistance services quickly and easily, and to help victim service providers make appropriate referrals.
The marketing campaign that promoted the Directory included a flier, downloadable Web ads, and a CD-ROM that walked users through the product's features and organization.
The APEX Awards are sponsored by the editors of Writing That Works: The Business Communications Report. The Directory was 1 of 5,000 entries from corporations, nonprofit organizations, and independent publishers.
