On April 24–26, hundreds of California crime survivors will join state and community leaders in the capital, Sacramento, for the ninth year to share stories, honor loved ones, and advocate for smart safety policies.

This conference will start with a welcome and morning kick-off program at the Safe Credit Union Convention Center. The hosts are pleased to offer nine different breakout sessions led by community survivor leaders and experts on topics ranging from healing through different modalities and cultural lenses to resources on how to build a strong survivor network.

Survivors Speak is hosted by Crime Survivors for Safety and Justice, a national network of crime survivors joining together to create healing communities and shape public policy. Crime Survivors for Safety and Justice is a flagship program of the Alliance for Safety and Justice, which works to elevate the voices of crime survivors in public safety policy decision-making to prioritize investments in smart safety solutions.
