The Texas Office of the Governor, Public Safety Office is submitting this Antiterrorism and Emergency Assistance Program (AEAP) grant proposal to support the victim response and recovery efforts resulting from the May 24, 2022, shooting at Robb Elementary school in Uvalde, Texas. Texas Office of the Governor will contract with three direct recipients, including Uvalde County and Uvalde Independent School District and the Ecumenical Center. As part of the AEAP application, there are four sub-recipient agencies under Uvalde County that will be providing additional services under the grant, including Hill Country Mental Health Services, Bluebonnet Children’s Center, Nueva Vida, and the Children’s Bereavement Center.
