Serving Rural Victims of Crime

This project will serve victims of abuse and violence in Adams, Nuckolls, Clay and Webster counties in south central Nebraska and promote safe, nonviolent communities. Victims within these rural communities face geographic isolation; a lack of available and affordable housing; lack of childcare; and a lack of transportation. The goal of the project is to provide high quality advocacy services to survivors and assist them in accessing housing, by providing case management, emergency shelter, first month of rent, and rental deposit.
