UNIDOS Cultural Competence Support and Services to Victims of Crimes

UNIDOS in Dane County, WI, will help Latin-x victims of crime with their basic needs, including legal assistance and fees, food, housing, childcare, transportation, and more. This population faces significant challenges to their mental health from the psychosocial stress associated with their status as racial, cultural, and linguistic minorities—this stress is intensified with the presence of violence and/or sexual assault.
