Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2010, $200,000)
The purpose of this award, one of several projects under the Services for Victims of Human Trafficking Grant Program, is to allow Colorado Organization for Victim Assistance to provide timely, high-quality comprehensive services to foreign national victims of severe forms of human trafficking and enhance interagency collaboration and coordination in the provision of services to such victims. Colorado Organization for Victim Assistance will provide comprehensive services to victims of sex and labor trafficking in (geographic service area); build effective community service networks to respond to victims' needs; and provide training to increase awareness among criminal justice entities, social service providers, and the public of the rights and needs of trafficking victims over a one year period. nc/ncf
