The purpose of this award, one of several projects funded under the Services for Victims of Human Trafficking Grant Program, is to allow Worker Justice Center of New York, Inc. to provide or dispatch legal services for victims of human trafficking as defined by the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000, as amended. Worker Justice Center of New York, Inc. will ensure the provision of direct legal services for foreign national and U.S. citizen victims of trafficking identified or living in the Ste of New York. The grantee will also provide will provide training and technical support to build capacity for legal service providers in the State of New York over a two year project period. ca/ncf
