The Vision 21: Building State Technology Capacity program addresses the needs of state grantees to increase access to technology for the improvement of data collection efforts to help increase the accuracy of administrative reporting per the new OVC reporting requirements. As society turns more and more to innovative technology, victim service providers and the VOCA state administering agencies must be prepared to respond to the rapid evolution of communication technologies by developing organizational capacity to support their organization's data collection needs, while still protecting the victims' rights to safety and confidentiality.
